Fran Metrics is a business intelligence platform built specifically for franchise and multi-location companies. It connects to your existing business tools — QuickBooks, POS systems, Google Reviews, and more — and brings all that data into one place. From there, it generates scorecards, dashboards, and KPI reports so you can see exactly how each of your locations is performing.
Before diving in, here are the core terms you'll see throughout the platform:
Organization — Your company within Fran Metrics. Each organization contains one or more Units and includes users with distinct roles.
Unit — A single location, franchise, or business unit. Each unit has its own data, reports, and KPIs. Think of it as one store, one territory, or one franchisee.
Data Point — A raw metric pulled from an integration (like "Total Revenue" from QBO). Data points are the building blocks of all reporting.
KPI — A Key Performance Indicator calculated from one or more data points. KPIs are the numbers that appear on your scorecards and reports.
Mapping — The rules that connect source data (e.g., QBO account names) to your Fran Metrics data points. Mapping is what makes sure the right numbers end up in the right places.
Scorecard — A report that displays KPIs in a grid with units as columns and metrics as rows. This is the primary report format in Fran Metrics.
